"Hungry" is a recipe website tailored for students, providing easy and delicious meal ideas that require minimal equipment and cooking knowledge. The goal of Hungry is to help students, despite their busy schedules, enjoy easy to prepare meals without compromising on taste.

The Process
- Identifying
the Issue:

Students often have insanely busy schedules, juggling classes, assignments, and extracurricular activities. This leaves them with little time to prepare meals. As a result, they might resort to unhealthy fast food or skip meals altogether, which can negatively impact their health and academic performance.
- Our Goals:
Our goal with the Hungry website is to help students quickly find and prepare delicious meals, making their cooking experience as efficient and enjoyable as possible. The website features filters that allow users to easily find recipes that match their preferences, along with options to save favorite meals for future reference or organize them into a calendar.
- Research:
I began by looking into and analyzing my competition to learn more about what makes their designs effective and how I can improve my app's user experience.
Next, I interviewed potential users to find out more about how my website can improve their cooking experience and
eating habits.

I designed a color system where each meal type is assigned a distinct color. This enhances visual organization, making it easier for students to quickly identify and select recipes.
I decided to add a hover feature to make finding recipes quicker. When you hover over recipe images, a list of all the necessary ingredients pops up. This way, the user can easily see what they'll need right away, making meal preparation faster and more convenient, especially for busy students.

Additionally, the ingredients that appear when hovering are color-coded according to meal category, making it simpler to identify what meal it is (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snack .)
